Vista Equity Partners Sponsors The Nobel Laureate Summit In Chicago
World-renowned peacemakers, presidents and activists gathered in Chicago last week for the 12th Annual World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates. The Summit was a gathering of ideas as participants discussed peace, human rights and youth engagement in today’s world. Just a few of the notable attendees included former President of the United States Jimmy Carter, the Dalai Llama, former President of the Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachev, former President of South Africa Frederik Willem de Klerk and former President of Poland Lech Wałęsa.
Vista Equity’s founder, Robert Smith, was in attendance as he sits on the Board of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, a program partner of the Summit. Of the event Robert expressed, “It was inspiring to hear leaders express ideas on sustainable solutions to the world’s problems.”
